Other buried data? Not that I'm aware of, honestly. I'm kind of a glitch connoisseur if you could call it that, and have been looking into fully exploring the glitch zones in a lot of games and was interested in what someone would find when spelunking through the actual data. Just out of curiosity, did you find any other buried data besides the glitch Pokemon/Trainers/moves? Obviously, we were able to discover Mew by means of glitching and gameshark, but if nothing else, Mew was supposed to be the extreme secret- the Ice Key of Pokemon, so to speak. It's not unlockable through any natural means in the game, and was only distributed through official Nintendo events. The monster was literally coded into the game post-production, had no approval from Nintendo, etc. Realistically, the fact that Mew was in the original Red/Green cartridges is supposed to be the extreme hidden content in the game. We're not going to find a fully programmed Arwing like we did in Ocarina of Time. We've basically examined Red/Blue/Green/Yellow English/Japanese inside and out, and know everything there is to be hidden in the game. Anne, and you actually get a reward for revisiting the 'landmark', a Lava Cookie, I think? In Fire Red/Leaf Green, you can still access the truck near the St. It's the same method that was used to try to see if anything was hidden behind Bill's house. The other method is some glitch that involves saving your game, and holding 'down' as your save loads, or something. When you return (with Surf), you can surf over and see the truck. They had enough room for 251 in Gold/Silver/Crystal, and I don't think they added extra ram to those cartridges, just the internal battery for the clock.Īaaanyways, you can get back to the St. They barely had enough room for 151 pokemon in the game do you really think Johto's in R/B/Y?
